Peter Lehmann '8 Songs' Shiraz, Barossa Valley, Australia 2021 (Was £30) One of Australia's most celebrated wine producers. A rich and fragrant nose with abundant dark fruit, plum, blueberry, all spice and dusty cedar notes. The palate is all about texture and mouthfeel, with rich ripe plums, dark red fruits, creamy chocolate, silky tannin and a pure fruited long savoury finish.

Casa E di Mirafiore Langhe Nebbiolo, Italy 2019 - 'Affordable' Nebbiolo from this top quality Barolo producer. With their Barolo's costing £50+ this offers similar qualities - pale garnet in colour, black cherry and tobacco with spicy notes on the finish. (£30)
